Membership
1. The ICI-RS was formed in 2009 and the faculty of the 4th ICI were invited to become FOUNDER MEMBERS of the ICI-RS
2. FULL MEMBERS of the ICI-RS.
Applications are welcome from all research active colleagues from basic or clinical science, and whether they work in private hospitals, hospital (state) practice, industry or university.
They must fulfil the following criteria:
- Be research active: defined as 5 peer reviewed publications in the last 5 years.
- Submit a current CV.
- Sign that they fulfil and are willing to abide by the ICI-RS Code of Conduct. (See Below)
- Include 2 letters of recommendation from founder members, or full members, of the ICI-RS.
3. JUNIOR MEMBERS of the ICI-RS.
This category is for researchers working in the relevant fields within lower urinary tract function and dysfunction. Normally they would be working with a full member of the ICI-RS.
They must fulfil the following criteria:
- Be actively engaged in research and envisage a life-long research interest.
- Not be qualified to apply for full membership.
- Submit a short CV with publications (published, accepted or submitted), research experience, current employment, ongoing research and research in planning, details of a thesis in progress or , and outline career plans
- Include 2 letters of recommendation from full members of ICI-RS
4. ICI~RS Code of Conduct:
Those who wish to become members must be of good reputation and probity, and they must have, at all times, treated their colleagues in a professional and respectful manner and affirm that they will continue to do so in the future. Failure to meet these requirements will lead to the individual being unacceptable for membership, or for continued membership.
5. Application Procedure:
Please submit your application to Liz Wetherell and it will be considered by the Membership Committee. Applications forms are available from our download page.
- Founder and Full Members must resubmit their CVs after 3 years to show that they are still research active (as above).
- Junior members, after 3 years, must show that they are research active and become Full Members, in order to continue membership.
